CableBox helps conceal cable clutter



The CableBox aims to solve an age old dilemma (for as long as computers have existed anyways), where you have to combat a whole bunch of snaking wires that seem to have a life of their own, rearranging themselves whenever you’re not around, creating a tangled mess in the process. The CableBox helps minimize that as it conceals cable clutter, coming in the form factor of a minimalist design. All you need to do is stuff the spaghetti of cables within and voila! – you have a much neater workspace from where you can keep family and friends fooled into thinking what a neat person you are. Available in Mini Blue and Large Black or White colors for £24.99 and £39.99 respectively, either model will sport rubberized padding that protects floors as well as openings on either end.

Hands on with the Kensington Pro Fit Washable Keyboard

Whenever I get a chance to try out a keyboard to review for a post, it is my tradition to write the article about it on the keyboard itself. Most of these keyboards are all alike, and this one isn’t wireless like the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750. It is USB and PS2 compatible, and it is good to go if you want to wash it. When I say washable, I mean that you can run the keyboard under a running faucet with soap, disinfectant, or bleach, and then air dry it. It’s all good, just keep the connector out of the water. I would imagine that this would be the perfect keyboard to have around in a medical facility, where germs and other bloodborne pathogens are a job hazard. It even has built-in antimicrobial material for “continuous microbe resistance”. I do have one complaint about the 104-key layout. The right Shift key is quite far away from where I normally rest my pinky finger. I suppose that I could adapt to that, but I don’t know how long it would take. T...

iPad

There’s an app for that – and in the case of the iPad (or iPad 2, it is your call), surely this must be one of the zanier ways to promote or advertise an app. The iPad Head Girl as she is called, is actually an advertising campaign by viral marketing company Thinkmodo, as they decided to come up with this unique looking piece of headgear which looks really realistic, sporting a girl covering her head with four iPads standing in a vertical manner. This ad intends to promote the launch of what used to be a girly magazine – but it has been injected with plenty of testosterone, calling it Cosmo for Guys. Since many guys love gadgets, it makes sense that Cosmo for Guys is an iPad exclusive magazine courtesy of Hearst – no newsstand copies for you to look out for!
