PLC-WU3800 projector By Sanyo
Sanyo has just announced their latest compact, portable Wide XGA projector, going by the model number PLC-WU3800, where this particular model will boast of the highest brightness in its class at 3800 lumens. It is effective even in well-lit offices, conference rooms and classrooms, and you do not need to be a rocket scientist in order to set it up nicely, never mind that you are a first time user yourself thanks to the Auto Setup Function.
Offering advanced display functions that include Picture in Picture and Picture by Picture, we do know that Sanyo has competitively priced the PLC-WU3800 at $1,995. Sporting a high performance optical engine that delivers a high aperture ratio LCD panel with 1280 x 800 True WXGA native resolution, it will also feature improved light efficiency as well as effective cooling technology, letting it cram in a high output 275-watt lamp that delivers 3800 Lumens of brightness.
Apart from that, this model comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio so that you are able to project images which are identical to the screen display of your notebook and laptops. Thanks to its wide aspect ratio, it is now possible to display even more information on the screen, while it facilitates projector features such as Picture in Picture so that you can have images from multiple sources, with Picture by Picture being the ideal solution for teleconferencing.
Being relatively compact in size at 13.2″ x 3.1″ x 10.1″ while tipping the scales at 7.9 pounds, you can easily move it from one room to another without breaking a sweat. The “Auto Keystone Correction” function will make sure that your audience will be on the receiving end of a distortion-free image by applying the appropriate correction whenever it detects that the projector is not level.
Gotta love the “Power-off and Go” function which lets you unplug the power cord without having to cool it down, doing away with any potential damage to the projector. Anyone game for the Sanyo PLC-WU3800?
